The problem for me was that if I add a folder to the project under which I have many Rails projects it wasn't working. RSpec needs the ${SANDBOX}/${COOKBOOK}/spec dir to be on the load path. You use these two names of the folder, not sure which one is the real name. If not, just create a blank one.
