I was thinking of creating an account as an alternative to IUSR but am thinking it is a long shot as the domain admin account does not seem to have permissions. We are running ISA 2004 and whilst not discounting this, I dont think the problem lies here. how is your DNS configured?  your sbs server's IP should be the DNS entry for clients, as well as the server itself. All computers are joined and logged on with AD accounts. I guess the problem must be somewhere else. I guess it is assuming my windows logon credentials. Now, I can't download other than the english version of the fix. If you have both Windows Integrated and Anonymous allowed, IIS will look at the NTFS permissions on the content. Thank you for the help. WHY?  I'm curious to know what is going on here and why that fixes the problem.
