Cannot Resolve Reference Unresolved Ejb-ref Netbeans

I had the same problem with the JSF libraries, but Netbeans can somehow include them without.. Any idea on how to solve this issue Alphy Post Reply Bookmark Topic Watch Topic New Topic Similar Threads EJB 3 Local Lookup not working with Weblogic 10.3 and JDK You might also be thinking that you need to modify your deployment descriptors and override something there--but if you're like me, you're just using annotations and you don't want to start Here's the error. http://dekovsoft.com/cannot-resolve/cannot-resolve-a-multiname-reference.html

Session1Bean includes an injected reference to Session2Bean's local interface. If an image is rotated losslessly, why does the file size change? I think I'm getting somewhere, but I get new errors now. :) I have to ask though, is the second "EJB" in "@EJB private EJB LoginSessionLocal dao;" a typo? I have two session beans (Session1Bean and Session2Bean) both with local and remote interfaces. Homepage

Like I mentioned earlier I am using Netbeans and I use wizards, so I have the standard DD and standard packaging. Why are LEDs in my home unaffected by voltage drop? Take a look at the generated web.xml (domains/domain1/generated/xml/j2ee-modules/app/WEB-INF/web.xml) and you can see that GlassFish deployment code has started to process @EJB found in Session1Bean.class and eventually it fails to resolve it. What I have observed is that it is caused when EJB implementation classes (i.e.) Session1Bean.class and Session2Bean.class are packaged in WEB-INF/lib/ejb.jar. As a workaround, don't package the bean classes in your war file. Let me elaborate. ejb.jar contains EJB implementation classes, i.e.

That would be a Bad Thing. Because reading is often harder than writing code, having unnecessary stuff around might just make things harder to maintain. So if you have a Session bean that you are _only_ using to back a Web Service, then I recommend that you _don't_ create an interface for it. at org.netbeans.modules.j2ee.deployment.devmodules.api.Deployment.deploy(Deployment.java:157) ... 16 more BUILD FAILED (total time: 0 seconds) Also, this is kind of interesting.

package CR.sessions; import javax.ejb.Local; @Local public interface LoginSessionLocal { public java.lang.Boolean auth(java.lang.String username, java.lang.String password); public CR.items.User getUser(java.lang.String username); }...web.xml... It wouldn't compile for me. Also, it doesn't matter if your interface contains your @Local or @Remote annotation or if your bean class does. I want to create an example java EE application (EE_App) in NetBeans 7.1 with JSF 2.0, EJB 3.1 and JPA. check over here Actually, to launch the whole thing I just do ctrl+maj+F5 after having clicked on the test file. The purpose of this post is to clarify two related things:1) Do you really need that interface for your EJB? I'll leave this open for a couple of days. You made sure you _didn't_ just blindly copy shared classes all over your poor EAR like Tony Montana spraying an AK-47 full of utilities and domain models and exceptions into every Since I have put the declaration: @EJB private CountryFacadeLocal countryFacade; in my class, the code compile, but don't deploy on the platform, the exception is: Cannot resolve reference Unresolved Ejb-Ref trustbnwar.listCountry/[email protected]:

What am I missing? :) I'd appreciate any input on this, I feel like I've tried everything, but I've probably missed something essential.

But I don't know the proper content... I'm using Netbeans 6.0, and I have created an Enterprise Project with an EJB module and a web module running the JSF framework. EJB is a very simple stateless session bean: */ @Stateless public class FooBean implements FooLocal { public String sayHello(String name) { return null; } } Servlet is also very simple: public weblink Re: Deployment problems, EJB/JSF/Glassfish 843830 Jan 7, 2008 1:01 PM (in response to 843830) Hi.
